i am a 17 yr old male in overall healthy condition. i have been taking medicine for hyperthyroidism for about 2 years.

the past week i noticed that at certain times my heart will beat normally, and then it seems as if it skips a beat. i know that it skips a beat bc i can feel it, and it is always followed by a very heavy heart beat. i guess you can say it sounds like this: “bum bum, bum bum, (skip), BUM BUM, bum bum, etc.”

could this be high bp?
also, could it have any relation to my overactive thyroid?
is this potentially dangerous?
